BEACH CLUBS

Sotogrande has beautiful clean Beaches, meticulously maintained by the local authorities.

Together with it's own two Clubs, during the summer months, many "Chiringuito" bar and Tapa restaurants are built directly on the beach with their own Discos and Volley Ball areas.

EL CUCURUCHO BEACH CLUB

Located between the Mediteraenian sea and the Real Club de Golf next to the Sotogrande racquet centre.

There are four swimming pools - an adult pool, a new family pool with a supervised children's area including a splash pool for infants and a larger pool for older children: all facilities including showers, sauna, massage and changing rooms.

Lifeguards are permanently on duty to ensure safety.

The restaurant and Bar is open all year but during the summer months of Jully and August an excellent lunch buffet is served.

A Chiringuito (beach bar serving drinks and hot snacks), an ice cream bar and plenty to look at.

A supervised children's play area called Iguana Park is where parents can leave their children safe in the knowledge that they will be both well looked after and well entertained while they play a round of Golf or indulge in the restaurant.

Paseo del Rio

Located between the mouth of River Guadiaro and the beginning of the apartment complex known as the Puerto.

There are two separate areas; a children's area which has two pools (one for toddlers), a supervised play area and it's own access to the restaurant for snacks; an adult only area with it's own pool, a large lawn to sunbathe, relax and enjoy daylong Tapas, Drinks, Snacks, full meals and a stunning view of the Mediterranean right down to Gibraltar.

Of the two Clubs it has the best access to water sports being close to the Sailing School providing instruction in  catamaran sailing, jet skiing  waterskiing off the beach nearby and kayaking on the River Guadiaro where a natural lagoon has formed at the river mouth.

If you like fishing it's a good place for Sea Bass too!
